User Profile Settings & Preferences
In the My Profile section (in the menu under your avatar) you can customize in detail your personal details, time formats, language preferences and your public booking link.
1. Username & Public URL
Your username (slug) determines the direct web address of your booking interface:
https://calendar.yourdomain.com/your-name
Pro in the cloud
Custom username [PRO in Cloud]:
- LockMyCal Cloud (SaaS): Choosing your own readable username (e.g.
/john-novakor/mycompany) is a premium feature available in the Pro plan. On the free Free plan a unique, system-generated link is assigned. - LockMyCal Open-Source (Self-Hosted): Fully configurable for all users without restrictions.
When you change your username, the application warns you that previously shared links will stop working, and it checks for taken names while you type.
2. Personal Identity & Avatar
- Display Name: The name your clients see on booking pages and in the header of confirmation emails.
- Profile avatar: Upload a profile photo or logo (JPG, PNG, GIF or WebP, max. 300 KB).
- Contact details: Phone and company – prefilled when you book a meeting with someone else.
- Login email & Password: You can change your email with a verification link and change your password securely.
3. Time and Regional Preferences
- Home Timezone: Your primary time zone (e.g.
Europe/PragueorEurope/Bratislava). All your schedules and working hours are entered in this time zone. - Time Format:
- 24-hour format: e.g.
14:30(European standard). - 12-hour format: e.g.
2:30 PM(Anglo-Saxon standard).
- 24-hour format: e.g.
- Interface language (Language): Choose the preferred language of the administrator dashboard and system emails. English, Czech, German, French, Italian, Ukrainian, Polish and Brazilian Portuguese are available.
4. Appearance
- Appearance: Light, Dark or System (according to your operating system setting). A quick three-way switch (Light / System / Dark) is also in the dashboard top bar.
5. Meeting and Contact Rules
- Cancelled meetings: The option Automatically delete cancelled meetings? is switched on by default, and the Delete after (days since cancellation) field defaults to 30 days (the allowed range is 1–365 days). A nightly job then permanently deletes your own (organised) cancelled meetings that have been cancelled for longer than the set time. The deletion can't be undone. If you switch the option off, cancelled meetings stay in the Cancelled list until you delete them yourself.
- Meeting Titles: Controls how bookings are titled on your dashboard overview and calendar and in your connected calendar: by the meeting information the host entered when booking (the default), or by the meeting type. Bookings without meeting information always show the meeting type. The event description in your connected calendar always carries all the details. Existing events change the next time they are updated.
- Collect contacts?: Switches on automatic creation of contacts in the Contacts module with every new booking.
6. Deleting Your Account
In Danger Zone → Delete account you can permanently delete your account with all your data, including the meeting history. You confirm the deletion with your password (accounts that sign in only through Google/GitHub/Microsoft/SSO confirm with their email). Future meetings are cancelled, their attendees receive a notice and paid bookings are refunded.
