Jitsi Meet

Jitsi Meet is a premier open-source video conferencing solution that you can run on your own infrastructure. LockMyCal automatically provisions dedicated rooms on your Jitsi server for every appointment.

1. Integration Setup

1. In your dashboard, navigate to Integrations → Video and select Jitsi Meet.
2. In the Base URL field, enter your Jitsi server address (e.g. https://meet.yourdomain.com).
3. If your server enforces JWT authentication, supply your App ID (optional) and App Secret (optional). Leave blank for open public instances.
4. Save settings.

2. How It Works

• Each appointment receives an isolated room URL derived from its meeting ID.
• With JWT authentication: Every join link includes a signed token valid for that room up to 4 hours past the scheduled start time. Rescheduling automatically regenerates tokens.
• Without authentication: A clean, direct room URL is provided.

3. Enabling on Meeting Types

Under Meeting Types, edit your meeting, set the location to Video, and choose Jitsi Meet.
