Installation on Cloudron

If you use Cloudron to manage your server and applications, you can run LockMyCal on it as a custom app.

Features of the Cloudron package

  • Automatic management of the PostgreSQL database and backups.
  • Automatic issuing of Let's Encrypt SSL certificates.
  • Simple management of domains and subdomains through the web interface.
  • One-click application updates without downtime.
  • Single sign-on through Cloudron's user directory; the button carries the name of your identity provider (Single Sign-On).

Installation procedure

LockMyCal doesn't have a package in the Cloudron App Store yet – you build the image yourself from the source code (github.com/lockmycal/lockmycal, the public repository is being prepared):

  1. Clone the repository and build the image for Cloudron:
git clone https://github.com/lockmycal/lockmycal.git && cd lockmycal
    docker build -f Dockerfile.cloudron -t your-registry/lockmycal-cloudron:latest .
    docker push your-registry/lockmycal-cloudron:latest
  2. Install the application using the Cloudron CLI and choose a domain (e.g. booking.yourdomain.com):
    cloudron install --image your-registry/lockmycal-cloudron:latest
  3. Set the environment variables via cloudron env set (or the Environment tab in the Cloudron dashboard), or in the file /app/data/.env.

Note

Cloudron automatically provides the PostgreSQL database, SSL certificates and mail sending.
