Nextcloud Talk
If you use Nextcloud, LockMyCal can automatically create dedicated Nextcloud Talk conversations within your private instance for each booking.
1. Integration Setup
- In Nextcloud, generate an App Password (Personal Settings → Security → Devices & sessions).
- In the LockMyCal dashboard, navigate to Integrations → Video and select Nextcloud Talk.
- Enter your Server URL (Nextcloud base address), username, and the generated app password.
- Save settings.
2. How It Works
- Upon booking confirmation, a public conversation is created in your Nextcloud instance — attendees join via link without needing an account.
- The waiting lobby opens at the exact scheduled start time; early arrivals wait in the lobby.
- The host starts the call from an authenticated Nextcloud session. Attendees can talk, share video, share screens, and chat.
- Rescheduling adjusts the lobby time and renames the room. Cancelling deletes the conversation, and completed calls clean up automatically after several days.
3. Enabling on Meeting Types
Under Meeting Types, set the location to Video and select Nextcloud Talk.
